Chandrakala and her daughter are members of an indigenous Tharu community in Nepal. Rural families like Chandrakala’s lack even basic latrines to combat one of the deadliest health risks worldwide: poor sanitation.
With your help, Bikas Bikalp Santha helped Chandrakala build a latrine for her and her daughter in the rural Rampurwa Village of Nepal.
Now, Chandrakala’s family can see a brighter future. Her daughter will grow unhindered by the negative effects of poor sanitation. Your gift has provided immediate and long-term help to this little girl. It will be better for her health, increase the number of days she spends in school, and improve her education.
Thank you, Micah, David, Mahendra, Chris, Trish, Ray and Lael, and an anonymous donor, for your donation which provided a family toilet for Chandrakala and her family.
The positive impact to their health and livelihood is tremendous!
